Zeal Charity Challenge

What is the Zeal Charity Challenge
The Zeal Charity Challenge is more than just a fundraiser; it’s a community in motion. On Saturday, 7 February, we are bringing together athletes, families, and donors to support Zeal’s mission work. Whether you are walking around the block, running a trail, swimming laps in the pool or cycling long distances, every kilometre you log and every Rand you donate brings us closer to making a lasting impact in Chandame.
Accounting for effort and to simulate walking, activities such as walking, hiking, running, and kayaking km's are tracked 1:1. Swimming km's are multiplied by 3. Cycling km's are divided by 3. We can only accept what we can verify as GPS-tracked.

Raise funds for Chandame
The Zeal Charity Challenge is an energetic, movement-based fundraiser dedicated to supporting an element of the Zeal Impact Group NPC’s mission work in Mozambique. The campaign aims to raise R250,000 to establish a Team Centre in Chandame, a hub focused on essential infrastructure training and community development. Participants are invited to walk, run, or cycle a collective goal of 2,833 km—representing the distance to the mission site and back—while qualifying donations earn entry into the grand prize draw. By combining physical activity with financial contributions, the challenge provides a transparent, high-impact way for donors to help provide vital skills and resources to the local community in Chandame.

Qualifying donations:
R2,000 = 1 Entry
Earn Additional entries:
Every R1,000 donated and/or 10km contributed after the qualifying donation = +1 Entry
Set up a recurring monthly donation of R100 or more = +2 Entries
Donations of R20,000 or more = +5 Entries.
Eg: R3,000 and 10km on the day = 3 entries.
R20,000 = 24 entries.
20km = 2 entries
The bigger your donation and the higher your km contribution, the better your chances. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the challenge.
